Why BetaReadIt exists
BetaReadIt started as a private tool, built to get real, structured feedback on one unpublished novel from a real group of beta readers. It ran for months before a single outside author ever touched it, so every feature exists because a real beta round needed it, not because it looked good on a roadmap. Today, supported by a small team of specialists, it's open to authors, publishers and editorial teams who want the same thing: real readers, real feedback, and a manuscript that stays under control the whole time.
Our mission
Not skimmed in a rushed email reply, not buried in a comment thread nobody reads twice. BetaReadIt exists for that fragile, in-between moment, after the last page is written and before anyone else has read it, and gives it the care it deserves: a place to read properly, feel safe sharing early work, and turn honest reactions into something you can actually use.
